The item worked well inside and would recommend it for that purpose, but was needed for outside pointing which did not work well. Returned item on 2/13/16.

My gray, Quartet Comfort Grip? type (class 2) laser pointer is by far the finest quality pointer that I've ever used; or seen before... I strongly urge anyone seriously considering purchasing a laser pointer to try a, Quartet brand, pointer... In this case, you deffinetly get more than your money's, worth...

I am very satisfied with this laser pointer as it has held together. I previously purchased two laser pointers by the same manufacturer and both fell apart after I used them 2-3 times. They were cheaper but were junk. The first one I thought was a fluke, but when the same thing happened to the second one, I guess it was a manufacturer defect. I only use a laser pointer every 2-3 months so they were out of warranty when they broke, so my loss. I have used the "more expensive" laser pointer 2 times now and seems to preform well and has not fell apart like the cheaper ones from the same manufacturer.
